Support Groups

Consider having a staff member oversee a support group for your patients who have undergone LAGB using the LAP-BAND^® System.

The Obesity Action Coalition (OAC) recognizes the importance of support groups in managing and treating obesity. The OAC offers a helpful kit that allows professionals to become more active in the fight against obesity, and also provides a list of support groups.

For additional support groups and general information about support groups, the OAC also recommends the International Bariatric Support Center.
